Jordan Freishuffield, 29, was arrested on Dec. 10 for a fugitive out of state. Officers conducted a subject search on Freishuffield in the 400 block of East Russell Avenue. Freishuffield was arrested for a warrant out of Colorado and transported to the Johnson County Jail on a 24-hour hold. more

Jonathon L. Smith, 37, was arrested on Dec. 3 for felony resisting, driving while revoked and multiple warrants. Officers observed a known male subject with a possible felony warrant driving in the 100 block of South Mitchell Street. Officers located the vehicle in the 700 block of East Culton Street and the male subject fled on foot. The male subject was located under the back porch of a residence in the 900 block of Ridge Drive and was taken into custody. He was placed in the Johnson County Jail. more

Trevor C. Thompson, 34, was arrested on Nov. 26 for domestic assault an an active warrant. Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of North Simpson Drive in regards to a domestic assault occurring in a vehicle. Officers located a male subject walking away from the vehicle carrying a juvenile. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked for city domestic assault then transported to the Johnson County Jail for an active Blue Springs Police Department warrant. more

Shyla M. Wimer, 23, was arrested on Nov. 18 for second-degree domestic assault. Multiple callers reported a domestic assault in the 100 block of East Hunt Street. Officers determined that a female subject assaulted a male subject. She was processed at the Warrensburg Police Department and then transported to the Johnson County Jail on a 24-hour hold. more

Derrick W. Roar, 44, was arrested on Nov. 11 for domestic assault in the parking lot of a business in the 300 block of East Young Street. Officers responded to a call regarding an assault between a male and female subject. Witnesses stated the known male subject struck the female subject and she was bleeding. Officers located the two subjects near Martin Warren Elementary School and arrested the male subject for domestic assault. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released. more

Vincent P. Reek, 59, was arrested on Nov. 5 for felon in possession of a firearm and multiple warrants. An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Maguire Street for a report of an intoxicated driver. The vehicle and driver were later located in the 300 block of Maguire Street. Reek was arrested and placed in the Johnson County Jail. more
