Mr. and Mrs. Rowland, of Warrensburg, will celebrate their 70th anniversary on June 28.
Paul Rowland and Mary Belle Dameron were married June 28, 1953.
Mary Belle is a retired elementary school teacher. Paul is a retired civil engineer from Whiteman Air Force Base.
The couple has one daughter, Jane (Jim), of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
An open-house celebration will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at First United Methodist Church Family Life Center. The couple requests no gifts. Cards are encouraged.
