Teen seriously hurt in collision 

An 18-year-old male from Holden was seriously hurt following a collision at 6:54 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, on U.S. 50 Highway in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, he was driving a 2013 Cadillac ATS south on Northwest 1421st Road when he pulled into the path of and collided with a 2015 GMC Yukon driven eastbound on 50 by a 37-year-old male from Kansas City, Kansas. After impact, both vehicles traveled into the median and came to rest.

The teen, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.

The GMC driver, who was also wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries and was also transported by JCAD to WMMC.

Man hurt after hydroplaning on 50 Highway

A 55-year-old Sedalia man suffered minor injuries in an accident at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2023 Porsche Macan westbound on U.S. Highway 50 at Northwest 1201 Road when he hydroplaned, traveled off the left side of the roadway before reentering and striking the driver’s side of a westbound 2021 GMC Sierra driven by a 43-year-old from Tonganoxie, Kansas.

The Sedalia man, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center.

Warrensburg motorcyclist hurt in Johnson County spill

A Warrensburg man, 36, suffered minor injuries at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2024 Honda motorcycle east on Missouri Route DD at the Missouri Route 13 roundabout when he hit a wet spot in the roadway and overturned. He was wearing a helmet, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
