Tuesday, Sept. 19

Trails Regional Library hosts Coffee and Connections at 9 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This program is for adults.

Care Connection and ParentLink of University of Missouri will host a regular support group for grandparents and other relatives raising children in Johnson County from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Trails Regional Library, 432 N. Holden St.

Trails Regional Library hosts Storytime in the Stacks at 10 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This is a kids program.

Offered by Journey Home, Refuge on Ming and various area churches, hot lunch is provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 206 N. College St. in Warrensburg. Medical services provided by Katy Trail Community Health’s mobile unit are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of The Food Center, 137 E. Culton St. in Warrensburg. Wednesday, Sept. 20

Rotary of Central Missouri will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in Elliott Student Union Room 235 on the University of Central Missouri campus. Lunch is not provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch.

Johnson County Community Health Services offers walk-in COVID-19 vaccines from 1 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday. It is not necessary to make an appointment.

GriefShare grief recovery seminar and support group meets at 1:30 p.m. every Wednesday in person at the First Baptist Church, 1302 S. Maguire St. To register, visit griefshare.org. For more information, call 660-747-9186.

Warrensburg Main Street will host the Third Wednesday Art Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. in downtown Warrensburg. Visit downtown businesses while supporting local artists and musicians. The event is free and open to the public.

The Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg will host the 21st annual Run for Freedom 5K and 10K at 9 a.m. For more information, call Latisha Koetting, supervisor of volunteer services, at 660-429-4661.

Oak Grove Community Church, 129 NE 1150 Road in Johnson County, will host a Give Back to the Community Movie Night at 7 p.m. Popcorn and a cartoon will start at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

Monday, Sept. 25
