Tuesday, April 9

Trails Regional Library hosts Coffee and Connections at 9 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This program is for adults.

Trails Regional Library hosts Storytime in the Stacks at 10 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This is a kids program.

Offered by Journey Home, Refuge on Ming and various area churches, hot lunch is provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 206 N. College St. in Warrensburg. Medical services provided by Katy Trail Community Health’s mobile unit are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of The Food Center, 137 E. Culton St. in Warrensburg. The Spirit Trail Coalition will host an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. at 598 SE Highway DD Suite 1 in Warrensburg. Trails Regional Library hosts Storytime at 10 a.m. at the Knob Noster Branch. Following is Kid Connection at 10:30 a.m. This event is for children ages 0-5 and their parents.

Trails Regional Library hosts A Gift of Peace of Mind at 1 p.m. at the Warrensburg Branch. This event is for adults ages 55 and older.

Rotary of Central Missouri will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in Elliott Student Union Room 235 on the University of Central Missouri campus. Lunch is not provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch.

GriefShare grief recovery seminar and support group meets at 1:30 p.m. every Wednesday in person at the First Baptist Church, 1302 S. Maguire St. To register, visit griefshare.org. For more information, call 660-747-9186.

The University of Central Missouri’s Lifelong Learning Series will host speaker Mark Pearce as he presents “Warrensburg’s Musical Legacy” at 6:30 p.m. at the Trails Regional Library, 432 N. Holden St. in Warrensburg. It is free and open to the public.

Magnolia Mercantile, , 109 W. Culton St. in downtown Warrensburg, will host a performance by Arx Duo, a percussion art duo, at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

Friday, April 12

The Golden Age Film Festival hosted by Dr. Roger Coleman is from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the Warrensburg Senior Center, 445 E. Gay St. This week’s showing is two episodes of "Man Without a Gun" titled "Silent Town" and "Man Missing." For more information, contact Amy Tobin at 660-747-2624.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 607 N. Maguire St. in Warrensburg, will kick off the 16th year of its community vegetable garden with its Planting Together, Growing Community event from 10 a.m. to noon.
