Trails Regional Library hosts Coffee and Connections at 9 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This program is for adults.

Trails Regional Library hosts Storytime in the Stacks at 10 a.m. every Tuesday at the Warrensburg Branch. This is a kids program.

Offered by Journey Home, Refuge on Ming and various area churches, hot lunch is provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 206 N. College St. in Warrensburg. Medical services provided by Katy Trail Community Health’s mobile unit are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of The Food Center, 137 E. Culton St. in Warrensburg. Johnson County Community Health Services offers walk-in COVID-19 vaccines from 1 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday. It is not necessary to make an appointment.

Trails Regional Library will host Music and Movement from 9:30 to 10 a.m., followed by Free Play with Friends from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Warrensburg Branch. This program is for ages 0-5.

Overeaters Anonymous meets at 10 a.m. Thursday in room 141 of the First United Methodist Church in Warrensburg, 141 E. Gay St. For more information, call 660-232-2115.

Whiteman Air Force Base will host an Independence Day Celebration from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at Ike Skelton Park. The event is free and open to members with base access.

The Warrensburg Farmers’ Market will be hosted from 8 a.m. to noon around the Johnson County Courthouse square.

The fourth annual Children's Patriotic Bike Parade starts with a flag raising at 10:15 a.m. and the parade at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Warrensburg.

Sunday, July 2

The Warrensburg Community Band will perform at 3 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Home-Warrensburg, 1300 Veterans Road in Warrensburg.

Medford Rock Island Church, 822 SW 1421 Road in Holden, will host a Fourth of July Celebration at 6:30 p.m.

Chilhowee Baptist Church, 101 Pennsylvania Ave. in Chilhowee, will host its annual community picnic starting at 7 p.m.

The Warrensburg Community Band will perform at 8 p.m., followed by a fireworks display at 9 p.m. at Grover Park Baptist Church, 409 N. Mitchell St. in Warrensburg.
