WARRENSBURG — Missouri has seen an increased need for cannabis education for businesses and individuals looking to enter the industry since the passage of the 2022 Missouri Constitutional Amendment 3, also known as the Marijuana Legalization Initiative. This initiative officially legalized adult-use cannabis sales in Missouri in February 2023.

Reilly L. Young, 18, was arrested on March 17 for domestic assault. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Mitchell Street. A male subject reported that Young had headbutted him. Young was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was processed and released.

WARRENSBURG - The future of Warrensburg’s early childhood education was decided at the polls on Tuesday, April 8, as Warrensburg voters approved the Warrensburg R-VI School District’s bond question that sought $16.5 million in general obligation bonds that will go towards the renovation of a new Early Childhood Center along with district HVAC and roof improvements.
