Mid-Missouri Artists, Inc. and Warrensburg Parks and Recreation will sponsor the 48th Holiday Arts and Crafts Sale Saturday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay. This show is unique in that all items sold must be created by the artisan or crafter. In addition to many returning vendors, several new vendors will be providing shopping opportunities. Shoppers will find booths in both the gymnasium and Multi A and B. Vendors come from Warrensburg and 15 other communities. Additional parking will be available in the Grover Park Baptist Church across the street.

Charles D. Stephens, 35, was arrested on Sept. 23 for stealing from a business in the 300 block of East Young Street. An officer spoke with staff members who stated that a known male subject came into the store and stole an item. He was later located and arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
