WARRENSBURG — Cadet Ethen Albert, a senior at Warrensburg High School, received the Headquarters Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps’ (AFJROTC) new J-100 JROTC scholarship.

Albert is a four-year member of the TRIAD AFJROTC program, hosted by the Knob Noster High School District.

Albert is the son of retired Senior Master Sgt. Josef Albert and Dolsie Tomek.

He will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a family alma mater, and will study psychology and Russian while preparing to be an officer in the United States Air Force when he graduates.

Albert was one of only 100 cadets from more than 960 AFJROTC units throughout the United States and military installations overseas selected for this full-ride scholarship.
