A Warrensburg man, 46, suffered serious injuries at 5:55 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was walking east across Maguire Street at Gay Street and was struck by a 2020 Buick Encore driven north by a Warrensburg woman, 67.
He was transported by JCAD to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
A Sedalia teen suffered moderate injuries in an accident at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 17-year-old was driving a 225 Kawasaki Ninja 500 eastbound on eastbound U.S. Highway 50 west of Northeast 175 Road, when he was actively passing other motorists by weaving in between the left and right lanes.
The motorcyclist ran into the trailer of a 2016 Ford F-350, driven by a 55-year-old male from Knob Noster, at the Northeast 175 Road crossover.
The motorcycle then overturned and the driver was ejected.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
