Jonathon L. Smith, 37, was arrested on Dec. 3 for felony resisting, driving while revoked and multiple warrants. Officers observed a known male subject with a possible felony warrant driving in the 100 block of South Mitchell Street. Officers located the vehicle in the 700 block of East Culton Street and the male subject fled on foot. The male subject was located under the back porch of a residence in the 900 block of Ridge Drive and was taken into custody. He was placed in the Johnson County Jail.
Anthony D. Vanevery, 52, was arrested on Dec. 3 for leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated and driving without a valid license. An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of North Maguire Street about a motor vehicle crash. They were notified of a vehicle leaving the scene and parking at a local business, where the driver and passenger switched seats. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the car near South Maguire Street and East Hale Lake Road. Vanevery was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
Wesley K. Hauer, 51, was arrested on Dec. 3 for first-degree property damage. Officers responded to the 400 Block of East Russell Avenue for a report of a male subject who punched out a window of a business. The male subject was located in 200 Block of East Young Street and was arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released on state charges.
Paul A. Cox, 58, was arrested on Dec. 4 for driving while revoked. Officers responded to the 500 block of Zoll Street in regards to a non-injury motor vehicle crash. The driver of vehicle one was arrested for driving while revoked. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with four city citations for driving while revoked, no insurance, improper backing, and improper registration.
Shane A. Small, 33, was arrested on Dec. 4 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed summons for shoplifting.
Donald R. Hager, 50, was arrested on Dec. 5 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed summons.
Leslie C. Watkins, 60, was arrested on Dec. 6 for trespassing on a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. He was booked and released on scene for trespassing.
Brandon L. Martin, 35, was arrested on Dec. 6 for trespassing on a business in the 300 block of North Maguire Street. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released on summons.
Jonathan L. Cramer, 56, was arrested on Dec. 7 for altering his 2024 registration sticker to appear as a yellow 2026 registration sticker. He was arrested after a traffic stop in the 800 block of Maguire Street. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
Anyjha J. Smith, 20, was arrested on Dec. 8 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
