Melissa A. Meineke, 44, was arrested on March 5 for driving while suspended and leaving the scene of an accident. An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of North Maguire Street in regard to a private property accident involving two vehicles. Meineke left the scene prior to officers arriving. She was located and arrested. She was also charged with failing to maintain financial responsibility. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released.

Vincent A. Martin, 25, was arrested on March 5 for property damage in the 400 block of Benjamin Drive. He was located in the 500 block of West Young Street and was arrested. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department.

Katie M. Galea, 35, and Anthony S. Duddridge, 31, were arrested on March 5 for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Officers made contact with them at a business in the 700 block of East Hale Lake Road. Both were arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department. Duddridge was transported to the Johnson County Jail to be held for a warrant, while Galea was processed and released pending formal state charges.

Levi J. Bewley, 35, was arrested on March 6 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.

Grant T. Russell, 21, was arrested on March 6 for driving while intoxicated. An officer stopped Russell’s vehicle in the 100 block of West Pine Street and arrested him. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department with citations for driving while intoxicated and improper registration.

Devan L. Halstead, 25, was arrested on March 8 for unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault and armed criminal action after an individual reported Halstead had brandished a firearm and threatened him. Halstead was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.

Joseph D. Baker, 30, was arrested on March 8 for unlawful use of a weapon in the 300 block of East Young Street. A business employee reported that Baker threatened another male subject with a knife. Baker was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.

McKenzie T. Thurman, 30, was arrested on March 9 for property damage. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Gay Street concerning a female subject who broke a windshield on a vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle owner wished to press charges. While on scene, the female subject assaulted a female subject who did not wish to press charges. Thurman was arrested for property damage and was transported to the Johnson County Jail. While at the jail, she assaulted an officer and was charged with assault.
