The Missouri State Highway Patrol reportes one person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle wreck Friday, Oct. 30, at Highway 13 and Northeast 950 Road.
The wreck occurred when a GMC Envoy, driven by Jeremy C. Caldwell, 41, of Centerview, was traveling southbound on Highway 13, crossed the center of the road and traveled off the right side of the roadway. His vehicle struck a fence, overturned and came to rest on its roof.
Caldwell is reported to have worn a safety device and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
The GMC was totaled.
