Posted

On Monday, April 1, the Missouri State Fair announced the seventh concert of the 2024 State Fair concert series.

Country artists Ian Munsick with Creed Fisher will perform on Thursday, Aug. 15 as part of the State Fair Grandstand concert series at the 2024 Missouri State Fair.

A native son of Wyoming, Munsick is “painting a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West” with his sophomore album "White Buffalo," due April 7. According to information from the Missouri State Fair, the 18-track album “spans tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honky tonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun.” It builds upon the “spacious, roots-pop beauty” he introduced on his major label debut, "Coyote Cry." Over the past three years, Munsick has accumulated nearly 400 million global streams and a host of accolades.

The 29-year-old has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and more. A seasoned entertainer who grew up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson.

The first release from "White Buffalo," standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown and was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022.

Fisher is country music’s rising Outlaw Country star who recently released "This Ain’t the Hamptons." According to information from the Missouri State Fair, the follow up to 2022’s "Rebel in the South" is “timed perfectly for country music consumers who are seeking that re-popularized sounds of Outlaw and Traditional Country. The album has its own distinguished Red Dirt vibes.”

Information from the Missouri State Fair states that Fisher is “confident the music and messages on ‘This Ain’t the Hamptons’ will connect with the majority of Americans, but especially those who love country music and live the lifestyle.”

Tickets are $55 and $45 and will go on sale to the public starting at 9 a.m. May 21 through Etix.

This show joins previously announced concerts Foreigner with Maggie Rose, Warren Zieders with Wyatt Flores, Goo Goo Dolls with The Fray, Tracy Lawrence with Ruby Leigh, Tauren Wells with Jordan Feliz and Ludacris with Dax.

The Missouri State Fair will be hosted Aug. 8-18 in Sedalia. For more information, visit mostatefair.com.
