Bob Hutton will celebrate his 90th birthday, March 9, with a birthday card shower.
Cards can be sent to 26 NE 600 Road in Warrensburg.
Hutton, retired, worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation at the maintenance barn north of Warrensburg for many years and, together with his late wife, Avanell, raised simmental cattle.
Hutton is a member of the Warrensburg Elks Club, Eldorado Saddle Club and Warrensburg Saddle Club.
“Bob has always been known for his wonderful smile and his willingness to help anyone in need,” Melani Stewart, party host, said. “He can repair anything and grows the finest tomatoes and turnips around. He has been a willing faithful friend to countless folks. Bob loves to ride a good gaited horse and has raised, trained and shared a great many. He also has trained many horses to drive and was often seen driving his fabulous spotted MFT team of full brothers on the gravel roads north of Warrensburg. Bob is a rare gem of a man who has always kept his word and stands tall among men. He is loved by so many. Please send him a happy birthday wish for his 90th and may he have many, many more.”
