Hip-hop & rap artists Ludacris, Dax to perform at Missouri State Fair

On Wednesday, March 20, the Missouri State Fair announced the fourth concert of the 2024 State Fair concert series.

Hip-hop and rap music artists Ludacris and Dax will perform on Friday, Aug. 16 as part of the State Fair Grandstand concert series at the 2024 Missouri State Fair.

As a recording artist, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges has sold more than 24 million albums worldwide, thanks to the success of singles such as “Stand Up,” “Get Back,” “Southern Hospitality,” “Number One Spot,” “Money Maker” and “My Chick Bad.” Information from the Missouri State Fair states that these records were accompanied by videos that demonstrated Bridges’ “far-reaching imagination and his willingness to stretch the boundaries of what rap videos should look and feel like.”

Dax, a rising Canadian rapper and music star, has soared to the top of the charts with his No. 1 Billboard hit, “Dear Alcohol.” According to the Missouri State Fair, this platinum-selling single “has captivated audiences worldwide, solidifying Dax’s position as a force to be reckoned with in the country music scene.” Dax has garnered a massive following on TikTok (10 million), Instagram (3 million), YouTube (7 million), and Facebook (10 million).

Tickets are $60 and $50 and will go on sale to the public starting at 9 a.m. May 21 through Etix. The Missouri State Fair will be hosted Aug. 8-18 in Sedalia. For more information, visit mostatefair.com.
