A new tool store is set to open in Warrensburg this summer.
Harbor Freight, branded as America’s #1 tool store, announced its intent to open at 721 N. Charles Street on Wednesday June 3.
The store is expected to create 10 to 15 new jobs in the community. The official opening date is to be announced, though the business' website lists it as opening in July 2026.
Harbor Freight started in 1977 as a mail order business, and has grown to over 1,600 stores in the country.
Nearby locations include Sedalia and Lee’s Summit.
