Robert “Bob” Evans and Betty (Sartin) Evans were joined in holy matrimony June 12th, 1955 in the Valley City Christian Church.
Both Bob and Betty have been lifelong residents of Johnson County where they both worked and raised their four children, Bobby, Bruce, Becky and Gail in the country south of Warrensburg where they attended Leeton schools.
Bob and Betty have been active members of Pleasant Bethel Baptist Church for the past 70 years.
Their children will be hosting an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Warrensburg and requests family and friends to join them in celebrating their amazing and blessed milestone of 70 years of marriage. No gifts please.
