Holden female seriously injured in Oct. 4 wreck

Serious and moderate injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck on Oct. 4 on state Route 58.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when the left tire of a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Alex R. Elliott, 38, of Warrensburg, blew out, causing Elliott to lose control. The vehicle slid off the left side of the road and impacted an embankment, overturning and ejecting passenger Mykaelah K. Williams, 27, of Holden.

Williams is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District

Elliott is reported to have moderate injuries and was transported to WMMC by JCAD.

Kansas City teen injured in Oct. 8 wreck

Minor injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck on Oct. 8 on Highway 50.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when Claire E. Bogaard, 18, of Kansas City, became distracted while driving a 2017 Chevrolet Impala, causing the vehicle to veer off the right side of the road. Bogaard over-corrected, causing the vehicle to cross the rash, strike an embankment and overturn.

Bogaard is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to WMMC by JCAD.
