A Sedalia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:23 p.m. Thursday, May 23 in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ethel I. Throneburg, 81, of Warrensburg, was driving a 2013 Dodge Avenger east on U.S. Highway 50, east of Route D, when she made a lane change into the left lane and struck an eastbound 2008 Mercury Mariner driven by 62-year-old Connie S. Borgstadt. Borgstadt’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.
Borgstadt was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center with minor injuries.
The report indicates both drivers were wearing seat belts.
