Serious injuries reported in single-vehicle wreck

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck March 6 in the 1100 block of Southwest 101 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a Polaris ATV, driven by Aylia Maritza, 18, of Portaville, California, was traveling southbound through a field, began to slide and overturned. 

An occupant, Torres Diego, 21, of Warrensburg, is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Maritza and Diego are reported to have worn a safety device. 

Three injured, one arrested in two-vehicle wreck

One person is reported to have serious injuries and two people are reported to have moderate injuries from a two-vehicle wreck March 6 at Highway 50 and Highway Business 50. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2016 Ford Fiesta, driven by Brendan B. Galbreath, 23, of Camdenton, failed to yield and traveled through the intersection into the path of a 2002 Ford Focus, driven by Johnathan W. Woerner, 34, of Harrisonville. The Focus struck the Fiesta and the Fiesta overturned. 

Occupants Elizabeth E. King, 43, and a juvenile of Harrisonville are reported to have moderate injuries. An occupant juvenile of Warrensburg is reported to have serious injuries. 

King and the juveniles were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Galbreath was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated - drug intoxication resulting in serious physical injury and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident. 

Both drivers and all occupants are reported to have worn a safety device. 

The Fiesta is reported to be a total loss. The Focus is reported to have extensive damage. 

Minor injuries reported in two-vehicle wreck

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a two-vehicle wreck March 8 at Highway 50 west of Route D. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2015 Lincoln MKZ, driven by Dillon G. Werntz, 31, of Warrensburg, entered the westbound lane of Highway 50 from the median and struck a 2015 Ford Explorer, driven by William D. Timmons, 42, of Knob Noster. 

Timmons is reported to have minor injuries and sought personal treatment. 

Both vehicles are reported as a total loss. 

Both drivers are reported to have worn a safety device.
