Minor injuries in Jan. 12 wreck

Minor injuries were reported in a Jan. 12 wreck on Highway DD at Southeast 341 Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2015 Hyundai Genesis driven by Daryl E. Young, 20, of Warrensburg, swerved to avoid striking a deer that entered the roadway. The vehicle traveled off the road and into a ditch.

Young is reported to have minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
