Cayleigh E. Clouse, 29, of Clinton, sustained serious injuries at 2:07 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Clouse was driving a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix south on state Highway 13 when her vehicle began to skid. She crossed the center of the roadway when a northbound 2008 Peterbilt 398 driven by Zachary M. Knight, 30, of Iowa, struck the rear of the passenger side of Clouse’s vehicle.
Clouse was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight Eagle to University Hospital in Columbia.
