Two hurt in Johnson County collision

A 19-year-old man from Blue Springs suffered minor injuries and a 43-year-old woman from Holden suffered minor injuries at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the man was driving a 2016 Ford Fusion east on U.S. Highway 50 when he struck the rear of a 2013 Ford F-150 driven by the woman.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the man was transported to Lee's Summit Medical Center by private conveyance and the female was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Windsor woman hurt in Johnson County deer strike

A 28-year-old woman from Windsor suffered minor injuries at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2023 Kia Sorento east on US 50 at NW 401 Road and struck a deer in the roadway.

The driver was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by private conveyance to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
