Man flees scene of accident
A 42-year-old male from Holden fled the scene of an accident near Warrensburg at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A MSHP report states the man was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado southbound at East Russell Avenue and Burkharth Road when he traveled into the path of a 2020 Nissan Maxima driven by a 33-year-old female from Warrensburg. The Silverado struck the passenger side of the Maxima.
Both drivers are listed as wearing seatbelts. The 33-year-old female suffered minor injuries and was transported by private conveyance to Western Missouri Medical Center.
