Kingsville motorcyclist hurt in Johnson County crash
A 30-year-old man from Kingsville suffered minor injuries at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report he was riding a 2024 Taizhou scooter south on SW 1821 375th Road and was turning north onto 1821st when a Chevrolet driven west by a 28-year-old Alma woman struck the front end of his bike.
He was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee’s Summit.
Whiteman Air Force Base woman hurt and Johnson County accident
A Whiteman Air Force Base woman, 35, suffered minor injuries at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas north on Missouri Highway 13 at Division Road when a 2023 Chevrolet 6500 driven east by a 20-year-old man from Windsor began crossing Missouri 13 from Division Road and struck the front end of the Volkswagen.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt, the injured woman was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by personal conveyance.
Holden teen seriously injured in Johnson County motorcycle accident
An 18-year-old man from Holden suffered serious injuries at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle west on U.S. Highway 50 at Route AA when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
He was wearing a helmet, and was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
Two Kansas City men transported after Johnson County accident
A 26-year-old driver from Kansas City suffered moderate injuries and his 43-year-old occupant, also from Kansas City, suffered minor injuries at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 26-year-old was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger north at NW 550 Road and U.S. Highway 50 when it traveled off the left side of the road, struck a MoDOT sign and returned to the road, overturning and ejecting the driver.
While the occupant was wearing a seat belt, the driver was not.
Both were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
