A 16-year-old boy from Warrensburg and a 53-year-old woman from Warrensburg suffered minor injuries at 5:42 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Nissan Versa, driven by the Warrensburg woman, slowed to make a left turn while driving southbound on Business 13 at SE 240 RD and was rear-ended by a 2010 Jeep Liberty driven by the teen.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
A 47-year-old woman from Knob Noster died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday, March 5, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 2016 Jeep Wrangler westbound on Highway E at NE 1221 RD when she crossed the center of the roadway, traveled off the roadway and overturned after striking a tree.
She was pronounced by Johnson County Deputy Coroner Jennifer Howser at 8:31 a.m.
