A 33-year-old Higginsville man suffered minor injuries at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, in a Johnson County accident.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a separate 33-year-old man from Higginsville was driving a 2001 Ford F750 northbound near the 560 block of Missouri Highway 23 when he ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence, overturned and struck a tree.
Both were wearing a seatbelt. The occupant refused treatment at the scene.
A 65-year-old Leeton man suffered moderate injuries at 7:42 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the man was driving a 2018 Chevrolet west at Missouri Highway 2 and SE 301 Road when a 2020 Peterbilt driven north by a 44-year-old man from Warrensburg failed to stop at the intersection and struck the Chevrolet on the driver's side.
Both men were wearing seat belts. The Leeton man was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District.
