Warrensburg resident hurt in Johnson County accident 

A 19-year-old female from Warrensburg suffered minor injuries in an accident at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec 25, in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 21-year-old male from Bates City was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt southbound at 340 SE 13 Highway when it travelled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt and did not suffer any injuries.

The 19-year-old female passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.

Six hurt in Johnson County accident 

Six people were injured in an accident at 6:20 p.m Saturday, Dec. 28, in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 54-year-old male from Warrensburg was turning right on U.S. Highway 50 west of NE 651 Road when it was hit by a 2018 Ram 1500 driven by a 62-year-old male from Cole Camp.

The Ram 1500 then traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.

The driver of the Ram 1500 was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center with minor injuries.

A 26-year-old female passenger from Kansas City was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center with serious injuries.

A 29-year-old female passenger from Sedalia was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center with minor injuries.

A 54-year-old female passenger from Cole Camp was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center.

The driver of the Silverado was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries.

A 48-year-old male from Knob Noster, who was a passenger in the Silverado, was transported by private conveyance to Western Missouri Medical Center with minor injuries.

All parties involved were wearing a seatbelt.
