Four people suffered minor injuries during a accident at 5:39 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol , a 62-year-old female from Grain Valley was driving a 2025 Honda CRV south on Missouri Route 13 north of Business 13 when she traveled onto the right shoulder and overcorrected, traveling into the northbound lanes.
She then struck a 2019 Toyota RAV4 driven by a 62-year-old female from Eminence. A 7-year-old male from Nixa and a 17-year-old female from Eminence were passengers.
All parties were wearing a seatbelt and refused medical treatment.
An 8-year-old boy from Leeton suffered minor injuries, a 41-year-old man from Leeton suffered minor injuries and a 45-year-old woman from Raytown suffered moderate injuries at 6:41 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29,, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the Raytown woman was driving 2015 GMC Acadia westbound on U.S. Route 50 near 501st RD when she struck a deer in the roadway.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt. The eight-year-old and the driver were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by the Johnson County Ambulance District. The adult male passenger refused treatment at the scene.
A 44-year-old man from Kansas City and a 26-year-old man from Sedalia suffered minor injuries at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the Kansas City man was driving a 2021 Lexus U250H west on U.S. Route 50 near NE 501 Road when he lost control of the vehicle, slid off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts and were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
