A 32-year-old man from Elmhurst, Illinois suffered moderate injuries at 1:04 p.m. Friday, March 28, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report he was driving a 2021 Volvo tractor trailer north on Highway W, south of SW 25 Road, when he was blown off the roadway by a gust of wind and overturned onto the passenger side.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
