John K. Knox, 47, of Bates City, suffered moderate injuries at 11:15 a.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Christopher G. Dady, 53, of Oak Grove, was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 and was towing a 2000 Ford Excursion with a tow strap. He failed to yield to oncoming traffic and traveled into the intersection of Northwest 450th Road and Route W. A 1991 Chevrolet S10 driven by Frederick K. Graham, 60, of Kingsville, south on Route W struck the passenger side of the vehicle being towed.
Knox was an occupant in the Chevrolet and, like everyone else involved, was wearing a seat belt. He was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center.
