A fatality was reported in a wreck on Aug. 21 on Business 13.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2015 Ram 1500 driven by Madison F. Dunnavant, 19, of Warrensburg, observed Kyle Pitts, 26, of Warrensburg, on the road. She attempted to swerve but struck Pitts.
Pitts was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District and later pronounced dead by the Johnson County Coroner.
Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle wreck on Aug. 23 on Highway 58.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Kristin N. Leeth, 29, of Warrensburg, failed to yield and struck a 2010 Mazda 3 driven by Hailey N. Bradley, 19, of Warrensburg, in the side.
Occupant Dustin L . Richey, 20, of Holden, is reported to have minor injuries and was treated on the scene.
