Contemporary Christian artists Tauren Wells and Jordan Feliz will perform on Wednesday, Aug. 14 as part of the State Fair Grandstand concert series at the 2024 Missouri State Fair.

According to information from the Missouri State Fair, Tauren Wells is a “celebrated musician, preacher, public speaker and father,” with 10 Grammy Award nominations, six number 1’s, more than 225 million career video views, seven GMA Dove Awards, Billboard Music Award nomination, and more than 1.1 billion global streams to date.

“Through his precise artistry, masterful lyrics and dance-oriented performances, Wells uniquely connects his contemporary Christian and Gospel sound with elements of pop, hip-hop and R&B,” the MSF release states.

With his 2022 album “Joy In The Morning,” his first record with Capitol Records/CCMG and third career album, he emphasizes his genre-bending musical talent and creative range, drawing from a lifetime of influences across gospel, pop, R&B, and more. Born and raised in Michigan, Wells resides in Texas with his wife and four sons. The Wells family recently opened a church in Austin, Texas, called the Church of Whitestone.

Pop recording artist and songwriter Jordan Feliz quickly became a household name after releasing his first radio single, “The River,” the title track from his critically acclaimed debut. Spending 12 weeks at No. 1, the chart-topping single was named ASCAP’s “Christian Music Song of the Year” and earned Feliz his first RIAA Platinum certification. Information from the Missouri State Fair states that thanks to his “charismatic vocals and signature blend of soulful pop,” each of his eight subsequent radio singles has landed in the Top 10.

Tickets to this show are $35 and $40 and will go on sale to the public starting at 9 a.m. May 21 through Etix. The 2024 Missouri State Fair will be hosted Aug. 8-18 in Sedalia. For more information, visit mostatefair.com.
