West Central Electric Cooperative awards scholarships to 2021 seniors

Mike Gray, general manager of West Central Electric Cooperative Inc., has announced the names of local high school senior recipients of a West Central Electric Cooperative Scholarship valued at $900.

Crest Ridge High School recipients include Will Taylor, son of George and Amanda Taylor; Reagan Shippy, daughter of Sam Shippy and Brenda Shippy; Cortez Jarman, son of Paulette Jarman and Paige Hobbs, daughter of Mike and Julie Hobbs. 

The Warrensburg High School recipients are Jacelynn Laws, daughter of Casey Laws and Carrie Laws, and Raegan Horn, daughter of Adam Horn and Tricia Hansen-Horn.

The Knob Noster High School recipient is Dalton Mayhew, son of David and Melissa Mayhew.

The Leeton High School recipient is Natalia Phillips, daughter of John and Angela Phillips. 

The West Central Electric Cooperative Inc. Scholarship is awarded each year to several area high school seniors whose parents or legal guardians are current members of the electric cooperative.

A total of 22 scholarships were awarded.
