Warrensburg police reports for Oct. 7

Laneisha M. Mitchell, 19, was arrested Sept. 8, in the 200 block of Courtland Avenue for second degree burglary and shoplifting after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard in reference to a theft. Asset protection reported a known female was seen on camera entering a restroom with multiple items before exiting. AP entered the restroom after their departure and discovered multiple empty packages in the trash cans. Officers identified the female, located her and arrested her. She was booked and released on scene pending state charges.

Kevin R. Payne, 34, was arrested Sept. 8 near the intersection of West Young Street and PCA Road for unlawful transport, manufacture, repair or sale of an illegal weapon, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle observed failing to signal at the intersection of Young Street and Burkarth Road. During the stop, the driver was determined to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released pending state charges.

Robert J. Gramm, 29, was arrested Sept. 9, in the 400 block of Burkarth Road for property damage and assault on an officer after officers were dispatched to Western Missouri Medical Center in reference to a combative patient reported by hospital staff. Officers made contact with a known male and restrained him for an altered mental status. He was ultimately arrested and cited on the scene.

Andrew G. Fountain, 41, was arrested Sept. 11, in the 1000 block of Christopher Street for obstruction and domestic assault after officers were dispatched in reference to an assault. A female reported that a known male attempted to strangle her. Officers made contact with the male, who was arrested for obstructing law enforcement and domestic assault. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Ethan G. Hernandez, 20, was arrested Sept. 12, in the 100 block of Broad Street for minor visibly intoxicated after officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Broad Street in reference to a disturbance. A reporting party told officers a male subject was refusing to leave and had become inappropriate towards individuals on the property. Officers made contact with the male, who was subsequently arrested for minor visibly intoxicated. He was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Richard T. Stover, 40, was arrested Sept. 13 near the intersection of North College Street and Railroad Street after officers observed a vehicle drive through a police roadblock. A traffic stop was completed and officers determined the driver was intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Naresh Gali, 24, was arrested Sept. 13 in the 400 block of Jefferson Street for leaving the scene of an accident - property damage exceeding $1,000 after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Jefferson Street for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. A female reported a vehicle had crashed into her parked vehicle before leaving the scene. The suspect vehicle was located and the driver was arrested for leaving the scene of a crash. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a city summons.

Dlanee R.A. Hollifield, 18, was arrested Sept. 13 in the 100 block of South Holden Street for shoplifting after officers were dispatched to the location on Sept. 9 in reference to a theft. Asset protection informed officers that on Aug 18, a known female left the store without rendering payment. Officers confirmed the identity of the female, and on Sept. 13 she was arrested at the Warrensburg Police Department after confessing she had intentionally stolen from the store. She was booked and released with a signed city summons.

Isaiah J. Jankura, 19; Jacob A. Dresel, 18; Chase M. Hubbard, 21; and Tyler M. Stewart, 18; were arrested for public affray near the intersection of North Maguire Street and East Cooper Boulevard after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Cooper Boulevard in response to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the reporting party informed officers that multiple subjects were involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot before leaving the scene. Officers located the subjects in their vehicles on North Maguire Street and arrested them for public affray. All four males were provided citations on scene.
