A polling station change has been announced for registered voters in the Centerview and Columbus precincts of Johnson County.
The Johnson County Election Authority learned the initial polling station of Christ of Jesus Christ Warrensburg will be unavailable due to a water leak.
As a result, registered voters from the precincts will now vote at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 386 NW 145th RD.
The locations for all other precincts remain unchanged. All polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
No-excuse absentee voting is scheduled to continue through Monday, Nov. 4 at the Johnson County Courthouse in Warrensburg. On Saturday, Nov. 2, polls will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. On Monday, Nov. 3, polls will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
As of Thursday, Nov. 4, Johnson County had seen more than 3,000 early ballots cast.
