Daniel M. Runnels, 44, was arrested on May 20 for dogs running at large after a neighbor had reported the incident in the 900 block of East Market Street. The owner was issued a citation.
Benjamin Shaffer, 20, was arrested on May 21 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. He passed the last point of sale without paying for multiple items. The investigation is ongoing.
Cecil W. Arnold, 43, was arrested on May 21 for trespassing and resisting arrest. Officers responded to a male subject in the 1400 block of Larson Avenue who was trespassing on private property. The subject refused to leave the property upon officer request and fled into the nearby lake, refusing to come out of the lake for around an hour. He later exited the lake, was arrested, and was transported to the Johnson County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
Christopher Pottorff, 31, was arrested on May 21 for trespassing and resisting arrest in the 200 block of East Cleveland Street. He was booked and released from the Warrensburg Police Department.
Marquez D. Childs, 24, was arrested on May 22 for driving while intoxicated. A Johnson County deputy reported they had stopped a vehicle in the area of Highway 50 and Maguire Street for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Warrensburg officers responded and arrested the male driver. The male was booked at the Warrensburg Police Department and released to the Johnson County Ambulance District to be transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for further care.
Jennifer L. Sommerville, 62, was arrested on May 23 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a citation.
Ike N. Ikineuo, 21, was arrested on May 24 for driving with a revoked license. An officer stopped a truck in the 1000 block of Gay Street for trespassing. He was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
John H. Butrick III, 36, was arrested on May 24 for domestic assault and an outstanding warrant. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of West Clark Street, where a female subject stated a male subject had assaulted her. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail.
Jennifer L. Byford, 44, was arrested on May 24 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard and for outstanding warrants. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed for shoplifting, and then transported to the Johnson County Jail.
Angela M. Fewell, 42, was arrested on May 25 for driving while intoxicated after an officer observed her drive up on a curb when she pulled into a spot. She was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
Kaitlyn C. Lazenby, 29, was arrested on May 25 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. She was arrested, issued a municipal court date, and released on scene.
Kyle T.J. Cope, 30, was arrested on May 25 for disturbing the peace in the 1200 block of South Holden Street. Officers were dispatched in reference to a male subject urinating in public, yelling, and attempting to fight other tenants. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
Filemon R. Garcia, 35, was arrested on May 25 for driving with a revoked license and cited for failure to provide proof of insurance after a traffic stop near Holden and Meadow streets. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released on signature bond.
Anthony Williams, 43, was arrested on May 26 for obstructing process and resisting arrest. Officers responded to the 100 block of Grant Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance where a male subject was arguing with residents. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
Scott A. Trobaugh, 60, was arrested on May 26 for driving with a suspended license and having multiple warrants. After a traffic stop in the 500 block of West Young Street, he was transported to the Johnson County Jail in lieu of bond.
