University of Missouri Extension Regional Livestock Field Specialist Patrick Davis and MU Extension Regional Agronomy Field Specialist Terry Halleran will be conducting an Online Warm Season Grass Cattle Grazing Workshop via Zoom at 6 p.m. April 15.
“This workshop will cover establishment, management and proper cattle grazing of warm season grasses,” Davis said.
The workshop will look at how to utilize native as well as introduce perennial and annual warm season grasses and legumes in cattle operations.
“Warm season grasses can be useful in economically meeting cattle nutritional needs during the summer months,” Davis said.
The event is offered at no cost. Those interested must register by April 14 at extension.missouri.edu/events/online-warm-season-grass-cattle-grazing-workshop.
