Mid-Missouri Artists to present program ‘Public Art in the ‘Burg’

Two art installations, one movable and one set into the sidewalk, are displayed in the 100 block of West Pine Street.

WARRENSBURG — Commissioner Allison Robbins, Warrensburg Arts Commission, and Executive Director Jill Purvis, Warrensburg Main Street will present an overview of the public art projects in Warrensburg at a Mid-Missouri Artists meeting April 29. 

Much of the public art in Warrensburg has been supported by the Arts Commission, Main Street and other grant initiatives. An arts scavenger hunt and the First Friday Art Walks will also be discussed. 

The program is open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. in the Warrensburg Community Center, Suite C. Those attending are asked to wear masks.

All MMA meetings are free and open to the public.
