Filing for available positions in the April 2 Municipal Election in Johnson County closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26. Filing opened Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Two Aldermen at Large, Ed Thomas and Jerry Johnson, both have two-year terms expiring in April. Thomas and Johnson were the only candidates to file, so there won’t be an election for the Kingsville City Council.
