The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Johnson County during the early morning hours Wednesday, Feb. 5.
The alert is scheduled to run from 1:13 a.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Freezing rain or drizzle is likely before 10 a.m. Drizzle will transition into rain in the late morning to early afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to be near 30 degrees Fahrenheit on Wednesday morning while warming to 42 in the afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, ice accumulation is possible. Slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. Hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
