Larry and Sharon Jennings, of Warrensburg, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on July 18.
They were married in Independence at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in 1981. The couple has resided in Warrensburg their entire marriage and have raised two sons in Warrensburg, Ken Jennings (wife Kimberly) and Joe Jennings (wife Heather).
They have three grandchildren, Brandon, Kambrie and Luke.
Larry is the fire chief for the Johnson County Fire Protection District and Sharon recently retired from higher education.
They are proud of their public service and the public service roles of all of their family members in the Johnson County community.
