JOHNSON COUNTY — Johnson County Community Health Services has released information in relation to the age and location of the confirmed positive cases of coronavirus in Johnson County as of Friday, June 11.
According to the local COVID-19 dashboard, the county's death count is currently at 56.
JCCHS states that of the 4,894 confirmed positive cases in the county, 4,878 cases are considered recovered while 16 are still active.
The case count is an increase of eight cases since Monday, June 7. Fourteen cases have been considered recovered since June 7.
To be considered recovered, the Johnson County Task Force states a person who has tested positive must be seven days post-onset of symptoms and 72 hours fever free without the use of fever-reducing medication.
JCCHS stated the total number of administered tests as of June 11 were 47,269 PCR tests and 35,335 Antigen tests.
The seven-day positivity rate for the county is 2.5% according to the State of Missouri.
The state’s dashboard states 19.9% of Johnson County is fully vaccinated, 12,235 residents have received their first dose and 10,749 residents have completed their vaccine.
Of the 4,894 total cases reported by JCCHS, 2,966 came from Warrensburg for a total of 60.6% of the total cases. Of the positive cases, 2,526 were PCR tests and 440 were Antigen tests.
JCCHS states that 2,954, 99.6%, of the cases reported in Warrensburg were recovered while 12 were still active.

As of June 11, of the 4,894 cases in the county, 942 of those cases had been reported from those ages 20 to 24.
The age group with the second most reported cases was the age group of 10 to 19 with 671 cases.
