Minor injuries reported in Sept. 27 wreck 

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Sept. 27 on Highway 50 west of Route P. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when an unknown vehicle merged into the same lane as a 2007 Buick Rendezvous, driven by Daniel J. Rose, 22, of Otterville. The Buick traveled off the left side of the roadway to avoid impact and overturned. 

Rose is reported to have minor injuries and was transported by private conveyance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Rose is reported to have worn a safety device. 

The Buick is reported to be a total loss. 

MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Holden, Centerview residents injured in Sept. 28 wreck 

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a wreck Sept. 28 on Highway 58 and Southwest 701 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2017 Subaru, driven by a 16-year-old of Holden, crossed the centerline and struck the trailer of a farm tractor, driven by Christopher L. Gudde, 73, of Centerview. The Subaru traveled off the roadway, struck two fences and overturned. 

The juvenile driver is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. 

Two occupant juveniles in the same vehicle are reported to have serious and moderate injuries, respectively, and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Michael P. Burden, 18, of Centerview, also an occupant of the juvenile driver’s vehicle, is reported to have minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. 

Burden and all juveniles are reported to have each worn a safety device. 

The Subaru is reported to be a total loss. The tractor is reported to have no damage. 

Serious injuries reported in Sept. 28 wreck on Highway 50 

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Sept. 28 on eastbound Highway 50 east of Northwest 1501 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2004 Ford Escape, driven by Chester J. Warner, 30, of Centerview, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, skidded sideways and overturned several times, ejecting the driver. 

Warner is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight. 

The Ford is reported to be a total loss.
