Serious injuries reported in Nov. 19 wreck on Highway 50

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck Nov. 19 in the 200 block of Northeast Highway 50.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2013 Toyota, driven by Carissa R. Peerson, 39, of Holden, overcorrected and traveled off the roadway.
Pearson is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center.
Peerson is reported to have not worn a safety device.
The Toyota is reported to be a total loss.

Serious, minor injuries reported in Nov. 23 wreck

One person is reported to have minor injuries and one person is reported to have serious injuries in a two-vehicle wreck Nov. 23 on westbound Highway 50 at Northwest 1971 Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2002 Peterbilt, driven by Ray L. Greseth, 26, of Wanamingo, Minnesota, slowed to make a right turn and was struck from behind by a 2008 Chevrolet, driven by Johnny R. Fields, 20, of Ulman.
Chevrolet occupant Kaela A. Sandquist, 18, is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Truman Medical Center.
Fields is reported to have minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
Greseth is reported to have worn a safety device.
Sandquist and Fields are reported to have not worn a safety device.
The Chevrolet is reported to be a total loss.
The Peterbilt is reported to have minor damage.
