Moderate injuries reported in Nov. 16 wreck

Moderate injuries were reported in a one-vehicle wreck on Nov. 16 in the 800 block of Southwest Highway VV. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Jazimin E. Mays, 23, of Warrensburg, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a culvert. 

The driver and occupant, Hames N.Stephenson, 31, of Holden, were transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by the Johnson County Ambulance District. 

Serious injuries reported in Nov. 18 wreck

Serious and minor injuries were reported in a four-vehicle wreck on Nov. 18, Route M at 50 Highway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Christopher R. Culp, 33, of Oak Grove, struck the rear of a 2022 Hyundai Elantra driven by Jayci L. Stowe, 18, of Lee’s Summit, which caused Stowe to strike the rear of a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo driven by Richard A. Kelleher, 58, of Warrensburg. The debris from the wreck struck a 2019 Ford Expedition driven by Amanda L. Begeman, 32, of Odessa.  

All drivers were reported to have worn safety devices. 

Culp is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by the Johnson County Ambulance District. Stowe is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD. Kelleher is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to WMMC.
