Minor injuries reported in May 19 wreck

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a two-vehicle wreck May 19 on Highway 2 at Main Street in Leeton. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2006 Ford, driven by a juvenile, failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2010 Ford, driven by Brianna E. Landers, 18, of Leeton. 

Landers is reported to have minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. 

Landers and the juvenile are reported to have worn a safety device. 

The 2006 Ford is reported to have minor damage and the 2010 Ford is reported to be a total loss. 

Minor injuries, arrest reported in single-vehicle wreck May 19

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck May 19 on eastbound Highway 50 west of Highway 23. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2000 Cadillac DeVille, driven by Bradrick A. Goodwin, 40, of Kansas City, traveled off the side of the roadway and struck an embankment and trees. 

Goodwin is reported to have minor injuries and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Goodwin is reported to have worn a safety device. 

Goodwin was arrested by MSHP on a charge of driving while intoxicated. 

The Cadillac is reported to have extensive damage.
