Minor injuries reported in March 15 wreck 

One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck March 15 on westbound Highway 58 west of Northwest 701 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2016 Nissan, driven by Danny T. Spates, 20, of Kingsville, traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the road, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a ditch, embankment and tree, overturned and came to rest on the vehicle roof. 

Occupant Katherine F. Morrow, 33, of Holden, is reported to have minor injuries and was treated on scene by Johnson County Emergency Medical Services. 

Spates is reported to have not worn a safety device. Morrow is reported to have worn a safety device. 

The Nissan is reported to be a total loss. 

MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Serious injuries reported in March 16 wreck 

One person is reported to have serious injuries from a single-vehicle wreck March 16 at the south junction of Highway 13 and Business Highway 13. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 1997 Harley-Davidson, driven by Robert A. Graff, 53, of Knob Noster, was traveling northbound on Highway 13, was delayed in observing the intersection causing Graff to abruptly brake, began to skid, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. Graff was ejected from the vehicle and the vehicle came to rest in the northbound lane. 

Graff is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by Life Flight Eagle air ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. 

Graff is reported to have not worn a safety device. 

The Harley-Davidson is reported to have extensive damage.
