Minor injuries reported in May 29 single-vehicle wreck 

One person is reported to have minor injuries in a single-vehicle wreck May 29 on eastbound Highway 50 at Northeast 801st Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2020 Ford Escape, driven by Keiara Martin, 22, of Sedalia, traveled off the roadway and struck a sign. 

Martin is reported to have minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

The Ford is reported to have extensive damage. 

MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Minor injuries reported for driver, occupant in May 29 wreck

Two people are reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck May 29 on westbound Highway 50 at Highway 131. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2003 Harley-Davidson, driven by Terran S. Mace, 29, of Sedalia, attempted a left turn where the lanes were uneven and overturned. 

Mace is reported to have minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. 

Occupant Abigaile L. Stark, 22, is reported to have minor injuries and was treated at the scene. 

Mace and Stark are both reported to have not worn a safety device. 

The Harley-Davidson is reported to have minor damage. 

Serious injuries reported for driver in May 29 wreck 

One person is reported to have serious injuries and one person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck May 29 in the 1200 block of Northwest 625th Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 1995 Honda 4-Wheeler, driven by Allen J. Hilburn, 38, of Odessa, failed to navigate a curve and struck a tree, ejecting the driver and occupant. 

Hilburn is reported to have serious injuries and was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence. 

A juvenile occupant is reported to have minor injuries and was treated at the scene. 

Hilburn and the occupant are both reported to have not worn a safety device. 

The Honda is reported to have minor damage. 

Moderate injuries reported in May 31 wreck 

Two people are reported to have moderate injuries from a two-vehicle wreck May 31 at the west junction of Highway 50 and Business Highway 50. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2018 Buick Enclave, driven by Andrew M. Anderson, 18, of Holden, struck a 2011 Ford Fiesta, driven by Aaron W. Reedy, 39, of Lone Jack, stopped on the shoulder of the roadway. Both vehicles traveled off the road and the Ford then overturned. 

Anderson and Reedy are both reported to have moderate injuries and each was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

The Buick and Ford are each reported to be a total loss.
